Specially designed with a Teflon treatment, each cushion has been tested against red wine, coffee and even pure bleach stains. Simply clean using mild soapy water and a soft brush to lift away surface dirt and keep your cushions looking as good as new.

We spent six years developing and refining an exclusive collection of Waterproof Cushions that can remain outside come rain or shine.

The marine grade acrylic fabric used on each cushion is completely waterproofed thanks to a special water-resistant membrane. This prevents water from entering through the outer fabric and into the soft, sumptuous foam filling, making Bridgman furniture the most comfortable available.

 

For the fully Waterproof Cushions to breathe, the cushions are vented so that a small amount of moisture is absorbed inside the covers. In regular conditions, this moisture will dry quickly before it is noticed. We recommend lifting and turning cushions to allow circulation of air after extended periods of rainfall.

Are your cushions really waterproof?

Yes, they really are fully waterproof and virtually stainproof too. We spent 6 years developing and refining the cushions by using a special marine grade acrylic fabric, a waterproof membrane and Teflon treated yarn. We are offer our Waterproof Cushions, the only ones of their kind available in the UK, as standard on our Kensington, Ascot, Windsor, Cliveden, Hampstead, Marlow and Monaco Collections - as well as our Casual Dining range.

Can the garden furniture really be left outside all year round?

Our garden furniture is made with materials that can remain outside all year round, in rain, snow and sun. Our exclusive Waterproof Cushions feature on many of our ranges and are resilient enough to withstand unexpected downpours as well as most stains. Where Standard Cushions are provided, these should be removed and stored during wet weather.

Can I buy any cushion colour with any weave?

Yes, however if this differs from what is offered in that collection, the cushions will need to be made bespoke. This does not incur additional cost but will prolong the lead time. Bespoke cushions have a lead time of 6-8 weeks.

Do you supply made to measure cushions?

Unfortunately, this is not a service that we supply at present.
