45 YEARS OF LUXURY FURNITURE
1977
Peter Bridgman follows his father’s footsteps into the furniture industry. He founds Bridgman on the principles of quality, comfort and style.
1982
Manufacturing of reproduction chairs begins in 1982 followed closely by the introduction of our first luxury garden furniture collection.
1983
Bridgman relocates to North London, a leading area in UK furniture crafting.
1990
A 30-year tradition of showcasing new products and collections at Chelsea Flower Show begins.
1996
Our furniture becomes recognised across the country for its design excellence.
2001
We become the first company in the UK to supply Premium Rattan Furniture.
2005
Bridgman Enfield opens, the UK’s largest luxury garden furniture showroom.
2010
The introduction of the UK’s first and only fully waterproof and stain-resistant cushions.
2013
Our second premium showroom opens in Walton-on-Thames.
2015
With a growing team and customer base, new offices and additional warehouse space is built.
2016
Three more showrooms open in Winchester, Old Amersham and Wilmslow, alongside a modernising rebrand.
2020
Bridgman launch their first indoor-outddor furniture collection - Tailored Dining.
2022
Bridgman Cheltenham and Royal Tunbridge Wells open, our two newest showrooms.
2022
Our 30th anniversary showcasing new products and collections at Chelsea Flower Show.
